I’m really excited to share with you all another 1 hour project which also makes a perfect gift. This Crochet Glasses Case is created using the Even Moss Stitch which is one of my favorite stitches due to the interesting texture it creates.
In most post for my Cocoon Hanging Basket I mention that I have a LOT of sunglasses. I’ve been looking for a way to keep them safe and scratch free in my 3 Hour Tote bag when I throw everything in it for a day out. This glasses case is perfect.
But it doesn’t work for sunglesses only (and I usually wear pretty big, clunky, Jackie-O type sunglasses) it also works for regular glasses too. To be perfectly honest, you could also use it as a crochet hook case or as a case for anything else you want for that matter. I’m thinking comb or a few pens in your purse with a tiny notebook. This pattern is highly adaptable so as long as you shorten or widen each side by the same number of rows or stitches, you can create a pouch that suits your needs perfectly.
The very, very best thing about this quick crochet project is how quickly it works up. Lightning quick even. You can make this gorgeous and elegant case in under an hour! I’ve made 3 already just for my sunglasses and glasses and plan to make a few more for gifts in the coming weeks.
